When I load certain AIR instrument plugins (Hybrid3, Xpand2, Strike2, Loom) into my software sequencer it crashes the MIDI sync. I use the sequencer (NI Maschine) as master (send clock) and as soon as one of the mentioned plugins is loaded manually or together with the project the MIDI snyc doesnt work anymore. Because of that my external hardware is not in time with my software setup.
It is possible to reconnect the midi sync output but this only works for the session. After reloading or inserting one of these plugins the connection is interrupted again.
thx for your response.
I use a Windows 10 x64 notebook with latest updates. Only music production software installed... nothing unnecessary.
Core i7 4710MQ
16 GB RAM
Maschine MK2 & Jam controller
I use the latest version of the AIR Pugins (e.g. Hybrid 3.0.7). Reinstallation didn ́t solve the problem.
Recently I tested Cubase 8.0 and after I got the right settings I couldnt reproduce the failure there. So I guess its a combination of my software sequencer (NI Maschine v2.6.2) and the mentioned AIR plugins. I already wrote Native Instruments and explained the problem them as well. Interestingly the MIDI sync issue only occurs with these four AIR instrument plugins.
